Abby Manning
Hi! I'm Abbs, the founder and designer of Root'd. I grew up in Utah, surrounded by mountains, where I found passion in nature! I specialize in Weddings, Events, and various Photoshoots

I first found my interest in florals when I was 11 years old, helping my mum create wedding arrangements for her sisters weddings. I haven't been able to keep myself away from nature's blooms ever since! I began creating mini bouquets while exploring the outdoors everywhere I went. Eventually, those mini bouquets turned into real arrangements. My official floral journey began in 2020 when I realized I could turn my love for nature into lifelong memories for other people!
Root'd Floral's name comes from both my love of gardening, potted arrangements/plants, and my love of fresh cut blooms. It represents being grounded in nature, AND in ourselves. Just like any plant or flower, without strong, healthy roots, we cannot grow to our full potential.
Root'd Floral carefully curates each arrangement according to the event, and the client's custom vision.
Styled to mimic a garden, products are designed with lots of dimension and texture, but still balanced to result in a romantic, natural, organic look. We want our work to seem like it grew naturally, while still feeling cohesive.
The majority of each arrangement ingredients are local blooms! As a small business ourselves, we love to support other small local businesses such as Utah's flower farms. The quality that local blooms bring to each piece is unmatched and special. Pumped full of love from farm, to florist, to client.

Cedar is your classic GoldenDoodle. Yes, I know I'm basic. His personality and coat of hair was too good to turn down. He is only a year old, so you can imagine the doodle energy. Cedar LOVES to play with other dogs. He is not the smartest, but he is my favorite floral assistant!
I love to climb!! I used to compete and even attended the world championship in 2019 representing Australia
(Fun fact: I am an Australian citizen as well). Although I do not have the same strength or time that I used to, I still try to climb as much as possible!
I also love to roller skate! I recently fell in love with the rush of gliding around, combined with intricate footwork. It makes me feel elegant and free. A great outlet for me to express my emotions and release stress.
